Number Plates

Number plates can be made to order or made and fitted while you wait. Special orders of vintage style, honeycomb & 3D effect and other specialised designs are available upon request. See below for a few examples.

Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency

As part of the vehicles (Crime) Act 2001 it is now a requirement that both proof of identity and proof of entitlement are provided when purchasing vehicle registration plates.  Suppliers must be registered with the DVLA and keep records of all transactions made.

Proof of Identity

• Photocard Driving Licence (preferred)
           OR

• Recent bank/building society statement or recent utility bill (Less than six months old)

With one of the following

• Current paper driving licence

• Passport

• Credit/debit card with photograph

• Travel pass card with photograph

• Foreign National Identity Card

(one of the following)

• Registration document (Preferred)              [V5] 

• Certificate of entitlement to a mark          [V750]  

• Cherished transfer retention document  [V778]  

• Vehicle licence renewal                                [V11]  

• Authorisation slip from DVLA local office with DVLA stamp              & nbsp;                                 [V948]

• Copy of the schedule of vehicles supplied by a hire/leasing company under the hire contract agreement together with a letter of authority on company headed notepaper

• A letter of authority from fleet operators on company headed notepaper with contact details

• Temporary export certificate                       [V379]

• Record of the insurance claim number and the insurers name (For repairs approved by an insurance company)
